1. Fat Kasia

The municipal well building in the Vistula River current, built in 1964, pumps water to the “Praga” Water Treatment Station. It is the only facility in Europe located in a river current that utilizes the natural infiltration process.
2. Monument of Glory to the Sappers

The monument erected in 1975 honors the sappers who fought in the defense of the city during World War II. It depicts six soldiers with weapons and tools, symbolizing their courage and dedication to the homeland.
4. The Mermaid Monument on the Vistula River

The Mermaid Monument on Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie is an iconic symbol of Warsaw, representing the city’s proud history. The sculpture depicts the Mermaid with a raised sword and shield, inviting tourists to explore the cultural heritage of the capital.
5. Copernicus Science Centre

7. University Library in Warsaw (BUW)

One of the most important cultural institutions in Poland, the University of Warsaw Library (BUW) was designed by architect Stefan Szyller. The BUW building serves not only as a repository for books but also as a center for scientific, cultural, and social activities.
8. St. Florian’s Cathedral

The Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel and St. Florian the Martyr, commonly known as St. Florian’s Cathedral, was constructed between 1886 and 1901. This Neo-Gothic church in the Praga-Północ district was designed by Józef Pius Dziekoński.
9. Praga Park

A historic urban park located in the Praga-Północ district. Praski Park features a playground, a concert shell, and a series of garden sculptures, with the most distinctive being a metal giraffe.
10. Church of St. Anne

For several centuries a Bernardine church, and now academic, it is a significant and distinctive feature in the skyline of Warsaw. It is one of the oldest churches in Warsaw and one of the few that has remained largely authentic.
12. Royal Castle in Warsaw

The Baroque-Classicist Royal Castle, located on the Vistula River escarpment, was built as a defensive structure. For centuries it was the seat of Poland’s rulers. It currently serves as a museum and representative functions.
